Title:Celebrate the ImplosionVideo:

Finishing well, Renewal, New Beginnings

2 Corinthians 5:17

Discussion Starter:

If a building implosion could drop the mic and walk off stage this is what it would look like. They didn’t just implode the building. They had to implode the building in the middle of the night at the end of a massive fireworks display.

That’s how you knock a building down!

In Las Vegas, a building implosion is the end of one thing but the beginning of something new. By now, where the Frontier Hotel once stood is something brand new. The city celebrates the ending of one thing as the beginning of something else.

In 2 Corinthians 5 the Apostle Paul points us to the same idea expressed in our life with Jesus. He writes, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”

3 Questions:

  1. Would you rather be the person who sets up a fireworks show or implodes buildings?
  2. When was a time you saw an amazing explosion?
  3. What’s one thing you are asking God to make new in your life right now?

Chew on this:

Why is it so much fun to watch a building implode? (On purpose)
