This weekend at Adopt-A-Block there were only three people that made it out. So naturally there was lots of walkways to shovel as the city got dumped with piles and piles of snow. It took the group a while but managed to finish up around noon.
Even though there was plenty of snow to shovel, God opened the doors for us to connect with people. The group was privileged to be able to pray for a man who was recovering from a surgery. Someone talked with a Christian guy about his faith journey and how he has gotten closer with the Lord over the last two years! One of the neighbors inquired about Promise Keepers that was being held at the Church the following weekend.
Praise God for allowing our Church to still be able to connect with people in the aftermath of a snow storm! Come and share in the excitement of showing Gods love to people this Saturday. Don’t forget to dress for the cold.
